What is it?

FLEXODOL+ Duo is a dietary supplement comprising two formulations. The first, called attack and the second called maintenance. This dietary supplement has been designed to support the joints and tendons.

Joints are the anatomical structures that allow movement and connect two or more bony surfaces together. The joints movable (knees, shoulders, wrists, ankles) are the most used in our daily life and are made up of different components: in the outermost layer is the joint capsule, which wraps around ends of the bones forming the joint. Inside the capsule, on the other hand, is the synovial membrane, which contains and produces synovial fluid, or joint lubricant.
Finally, as the covering of the ends of the bones that make up the joint, we find the cartilage , a kind of natural cushion whose function is to avoid friction and the wear of the bones in which it is inserted. Cartilage is produced by special cells, called chondrocytes, immersed in an extracellular matrix, produced by themselves and made up of collagen, proteoglycans (such as hyaluronic acid), glycoproteins and elastic fibers .
Chondrocytes are responsible for the metabolism of cartilage tissue, and therefore for the delicate balance between destruction and construction of the extracellular matrix.
Some factors, such as continuous stress of the joints or trauma typical of sports activity, can lead to wear of the cartilage and the appearance of inflammation, resulting in a feeling of pain and a limitation of movement . In fact, with joint pain, the immune system produces various chemicals (like prostaglandins and leukotrienes) that cause inflammation and transmit pain signals to the brain.
FLEXODOL+ Duo, thanks to its dual formulation, carries substances capable of helping the body to have an appropriate response against inflammation and to provide the articular structure with components useful for maintaining the trophism of cartilaginous tissues.

Composition

Bioactive Collagen Peptide Fortigel®

Collagen peptides are hydrolyzed collagen i.e. proteins" pre-digested" which are found in the form of free and easily absorbable amino acid chains. There are different forms of collagen (native collagen for example) but the most effective products are those that contain collagen peptides. Indeed, the hydrolyzation of long chains of amino acids into much shorter chains allows better absorption and use by the body. Here, the collagen peptides of the Bioactive Collagen Peptides® range are specific and allow, for example, partial survival to digestion and therefore the crossing of the intestinal barrier while remaining intact.

The peptides in Bioactive Collagen Peptides® stand out for their high concentration of proline and glycine, which form bonds that are more resistant to degradation by digestive enzymes. In addition, they maintain their unique, longer and thinner helix structure, which improves stability and favorable folding properties that facilitate their absorption. It is estimated that approximately 10% of the collagen peptides offered by the Gelita brand remain intact at the time of digestion, which demonstrates effective bioavailability, penetration into the bloodstream and optimal and rapid utilization. The other peptides are broken down into amino acids used as building blocks for the various other tissues.

Fortigel® : This is a unique bioactive collagen peptide supplement developed by the German company Gelita and is used in the purpose of activating the cartilaginous metabolism and therefore the effectiveness has been scientifically proven in numerous studies. It consists of Bioactive Collagen Peptide®, a composition of different specific peptides, optimized to maximize the stimulation of the types of human cells involved in the biosynthesis of collagen. The exact composition of the product is not specifically described but it contains about twenty different amino acids including 3 specific ones (glycine, proline and hydroxyproline) which target the production of new collagen in the body. The specificity of Fortigel® is that the collagen peptides have been chosen with the aim of maximizing the stimulation of a type of human cells in particular, namely chondrocytes, cells which produce cartilage and also synthesize collagen.

The Vitamin C added to the formulation of Flexodolis essential for collagen synthesis. Indeed hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine are components of collagen. Without ascorbic acid, the activity of the two oxidases allowing the hydroxylation of proline and lysine are reduced and collagen synthesis becomes incomplete. Indeed, ascorbic acid is the cofactor of its hydroxylation enzymes by the oxidation of iron Fe3+ to Fe2+ which is necessary for the activity of these two oxidases.

Ingredients:

ATTACK FORMULA INGREDIENTS: Agents filler: cellulose, dicalcium phosphate; BOSWELLIN® Super, willow bark (Salix alba L. ) for example titmouse. 30% salicin, filming agent (coating agents: shellac, hydroxy-propyl-methylcellulose, talc, polyethylene glycol; colorants: titanium dioxide, iron oxides and hydroxides), anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts d 'Fatty acids ; stabilizer: cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose; encapsulated black pepper oil, cholecalciferol (vitamin D).

MAINTENANCE FORMULA INGREDIENTS: FORTIGEL® (hydrolyzed collagen), acidifier: citric acid; ExceptionHYAL® Jump sodium hyaluronate, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), aroma, sweetener: sucralose; manganese gluconate, coloring: carotenes.

Directions for use: It is recommended to take the product according to this regimen:

➻ First 7 days: take 2 tablets per day (attack formula), preferably on a full stomach

➻ After 14 days: dissolve 1 sachet (6.5 g) in 250 ml of water (maintenance formula) and take once a day, preferably between meals.
