Product Description

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin, meaning it is soluble in fat. Vitamin E is the collective term for four tocopherols (α-, β-, γ- and δ-tocopherols) and four tocotrienols (α-, β-, γ- and δ-tocotrienols) found in food. This is also why we sometimes speak of vitamer and not of vitamin to qualify vitamin E. Indeed, the vitamer will represent the family of 8 vitamins E. But in everyday language, vitamin E refers to α-tocopherol, which has the highest vitamin activity.

The main dietary sources of 𝞪-tocopherol are vegetable oils, fat spreads made from vegetable oils, nuts and seeds, certain fatty fish, egg yolks and whole grains. The proportions of the four forms of tocopherols vary depending on the food source, the most abundant being 𝞪-tocopherol and γ-tocopherol. In particular, vegetable oils vary in their content of different forms of tocopherols: wheat germ, sunflower, olive and rapeseed oils are good sources of 𝞪-tocopherol, wheat germ oil from β-tocopherol, γ-tocopherol soybean, corn and rapeseed oils and δ-tocopherol soybean oil.

This vitamin is known to help protect cells against oxidative stress.

Current European regulations do not allow us to say more about the benefits of vitamin E. We therefore invite you to visit the Pubmed scientific database.

Vitamin E deficiency: There are many reasons why Western men often experience vitamin E deficiency.

The consumption of refined oils and therefore vitamin E losses, is one of the causes.

Industrial fats (especially with polyunsaturated fatty acids), lack of consumption of nuts and seeds, consumption of white flours which lack the germ rich in vitamin E are all also reasons for which our food lacks this vitamin.

Advice of the nutrition professional

@isabelle_fit_

"Vitamin E is an excellent antioxidant. Everyone is not deficient, but it is always interesting to consume it in supplementation to prevent oxidative stress, very widespread in our current society. The SupraBio™ Label is one of the only raw materials offering vitamin E rich in tocotrienols, a molecule 40 times more effective than tocopherols. In addition, the lipid mixture offered by this label helps the absorption of tocotrienols which are usually quite malabsorbed. "

@fitnessbreak

"Vitamin E plays an essential role in the protection of all cells in the body. It is antioxidant.

I highly recommend it for people with a stressful environment.
I also very often put it on overweight people because it helps to destock stubborn fat and I get very good results with it. "
