Product Description

What is it is ?

B-Right® from Jarrow's® is a supplement that contains a complex of B vitamins. The formula offers a complex of 11 B vitamins essential for maintaining the body's physiological functions (energy metabolism, nervous system, cognition, immune system. )

B vitamins are essential for life.
Humans can't synthesize them (apart from vitamin D), so we have to get them through food. However, depleted soils, along with ever-faster farming methods, completely negate the vitamin profile of fruits and vegetables.

This is a full-spectrum B vitamin supplement, carefully designed for optimal absorption and utilization. This formulation provides the B vitamins in their safest, best tolerated and most biochemically active forms.

They are needed to produce energy from food, and to make and maintain the functions of DNA, genes, cells, tissues, organs and enzymes. They also contribute to normal functioning of the nervous system.

These B vitamins are fundamental for life, because we cannot manufacture them ourselves.

B-Right® is one of the few vitamin B complexes with fully active and bioavailable forms!!

Vitamin B1 - Thiamine

Vitamin B1 is involved in different functions. First, it contributes to normal energy metabolism through its involvement in energy production by promoting carbohydrate metabolism. It plays a role in the conduction of nerve impulses, and therefore contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system. It also comes into play in various functions of the immune system and in particular in the regulation and activation of immune cells and proteins of this system. Finally, it contributes to normal psychological and cardiac functions.

It is important to provide enough B1. Indeed, the deficiency of this vitamin is still very little diagnosed but nevertheless has serious consequences, including a pathology called Beriberi associated with high morbidity and mortality.

Vitamin B2 - Riboflavin

Vitamin B2 also contributes to normal energy metabolism, through its role in lipid metabolism. A sufficient intake of B2 contributes to the maintenance of normal red blood cells. It also plays a role in vision and in particular in dark adaptation by contributing to the maintenance of normal vision.

Vitamin B2 deficiency is significant in people who do not consume meat or dairy. However, it can cause skin disorders, muscle cramps, decreased vision, etc. It is therefore important to provide enough vitamin B2 to your body.

Vitamin B3 - Niacin

Vitamin B3 contributes to normal energy metabolism, to reducing fatigue, to the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Severe Niacin deficiency can lead to Pellagra disease, characterized by skin disorders (eczema), neurological and psychological disorders (dementia), diarrhea and can lead to death in the most extreme cases. Vitamin B3 deficiency can also lead to loss of appetite, intense fatigue associated with insomnia, headaches, etc.

Vitamin B5 - Pantothenic Acid

Vitamin B5 is the precursor of coenzyme A which acts in various metabolic pathways. Pantothenic acid contributes to the normal synthesis and normal metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and certain neurotransmitters.

Vitamin B5 deficiency is quite rare. Despite this, it can cause significant fatigue, headaches and a feeling of general weakness. Changes in personality (irritability), sleep disorders (insomnia), impaired motor coordination and gastrointestinal disorders are also potential symptoms that can be triggered.

Vitamin B6 - Pyridoxine

Vitamin B6 plays a role in the production of energy through the metabolism of different macronutrients, and contributes in particular to the normal metabolism of proteins and glycogen. It helps regulate the hormonal activity of several neurotransmitters that affect mood. An adequate supply of pyridoxine contributes to normal psychological functions, normal formation of red blood cells, normal functioning of the nervous system and immune.

Pyridoxine deficiency can lead to skin disorders, dizziness, seizures and mood disorders (irritability, depression, nervousness, etc. ) It is also possible to see digestive disorders appear, loss of appetite and reduced immunity.

Vitamin B8 - Biotin

Vitamin B8, also called vitamin B7, biotin or vitamin H, plays a role in the production of energy through the metabolism of lipids, carbohydrates and amino acids. It supports immune function by participating in the production of antibodies, normal macrophages, etc.

Biotin deficiency can lead to dander disorders (brittle nails, hair loss, etc. ), skin disorders (inflammation, irritation, pallor, etc. ) as well as digestive disorders. Other symptoms may also appear such as daytime fatigue and drowsiness, loss of appetite, numbness and tingling in the extremities, as well as hypotonia (decreased muscle tone) and muscle pain, etc.

Vitamin B9 - Folic Acid/Folate Quatrefolic®

Vitamin B9 is essential in the constitution of genetic material (DNA) and folate contributes to the normal synthesis of amino acids (such as methionine). In the fetus, folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy, including the spinal cord and spinal tube.

A deficiency in B9 will cause anemia which will result in intense fatigue. This increases the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, skin disorders, etc.

Vitamin B12 - Cobalamin

Vitamin B12 participates in the production of energy through the metabolism of proteins, lipids and carbohydrates. It contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, to the normal metabolism of homocysteine, to normal psychological functions, to the normal formation of red blood cells, to the normal functioning of the immune system, to reduce fatigue and plays a role in the process of cell division.

A deficiency also leads to anemia, and therefore fatigue. You may experience shortness of breath and weakness. It can also cause loss of appetite and weight, neurological symptoms (tingling and numbness), mood disorders, etc. It is therefore very important to maintain a satisfactory amount of vitamin B12.

Composition

B-Right® consists of a complex of B group vitamins. Among these vitamins we find vitamin B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid ), B6, B7 (biotin), B9 (folate) and B12 (cobalamin).

One of the major advantages of this complex lies in the particularly bioavailable forms chosen for vitamin B12 and vitamin B9.

Indeed, it is often common to see vitamin B12 in synthetic form (cyanocobalamin) which is not biologically active and therefore has no particular benefit. It is rare to find vitamin B12 supplements containing directly active forms and above all, which survive the processes of digestion and intestinal absorption. Here, Swanson® has chosen to incorporate a biologically active form of vitamin B12: methylcobalamin. This form is directly active (no conversion step).

The other vitamin on which Jarrows® played the quality card is vitamin B9. Indeed, as with vitamin B12, it is very common to find the synthetic form (folic acid) on the label of most vitamin B9 supplements. This synthetic form, in addition to not being biologically active, blocks the receptors and prevents the assimilation of natural vitamin B9 (present in green vegetables for example).

In B-Right® it is the natural form Folate with the label Quatrefolic® that is present. It is therefore a biologically active form in so-called "ready to use" folates since they completely bypass the conversion steps and are directly in their active form: 5-MethylTetraHydroFolates (5-MTHF) that the body can use immediately. In addition, this form has been approved as more bioavailable and more soluble than folic acid while preventing the exposure of cells to this synthetic Unmetabolized Folic Acid (UMFA) capable of causing inflammation, fatigue, hormonal imbalances or even cardiovascular disorders.

The opinion of our professionals

The opinion of a nutrition professional

@isabelle_fit_

"Vitamin B complexes are very common. They are recommended in general to support the immune system and energy metabolism.
Although food is supposed to be able to meet our B vitamin needs, our consumption patterns and the lower quality of our products have the effect of reducing this vitamin intake and causing deficits or even deficiencies over the long term. term. So it is in this context that supplementation becomes interesting.
Nevertheless, be careful with the forms found in supplements. Many inexpensive food supplements offer synthetic forms, which are much less bioavailable and above all, often useless because they are inactive. The forms chosen here for vitamins B12 and B9 are the most bioavailable and physiologically active.

@tristank_coaching

B group vitamins are especially essential for vegetarians as well as for non-vegan people for the many benefits on the physiological functions of the body. "
The forms present in B-Right are all active and bioavailable, which is very rare in supplements where profit dominates the market at the expense of quality.
