Creatine Kre-Alkalyn® of EFX® is only composed of creatine monohydrate. It is a pH buffered creatine monohydrate.

It has the advantage of preventing water retention and bloating usually caused by normal creatine consumption. Creatine is stabilized and contributes to the acid level of the digestive system to prevent digestive problems such as bloating, cramps and diarrhea.

Research around Kre-Alkalyn® showed that the lower the pH, the faster the conversion to creatinine. Thus, since the Kre-Alkalyn® is buffered at pH12, the conversion is no longer possible or almost impossible. Buffered creatine would bring intact creatine into the bloodstream and then into the muscle cells.

On the other hand, there is no difference in terms of benefits for strength, endurance and performance compared to other forms of creatine monohydrate.

In other words, Kre-Alkalyn® has all the advantages of creatine without its disadvantages.
