Product Description

What is it?

Konjac is a plant of Asian origin, it is one of the traditional Japanese foods. It is marketed in the form of pasta, noodles and rice.
Very low in calories, it is mainly made up of glucomannan, a fiber that attracts water and allows you to be satiated and which gives it various health benefits.

Composition

Konjac, mainly available in the form of pasta, is a food that has very few calories (less than 15 kcal per 100g) and very rich in water (at least 95%). In addition to water, its main constituent is glucomannan, which is one of the so-called "soluble" fibres.
However, the supply of micro-nutrients (minerals, vitamins) is almost nil in konjac.

Konjac is particularly rich in water, with a content of at least 95%. It contributes to the hydration of the body: eating an average plate (150g) of konjac noodles is like drinking a small glass of water.

Konjac has a very low carbohydrate content and does not brings no sugars.
Thanks to its fibers, it has a very low glycemic index, its consumption has almost no impact on glycemia (blood sugar level).
It can be recommended in case of diabetes.

Konjac is mostly fiber. It is glucomannan, a so-called "soluble" fiber, which forms a viscous gel in the presence of water.
All the health effects of konjac are linked to its supply of glucomannan, which has a strong satiating power.

Konjac is a formidable ally for your weight loss thanks to its strong satiating power, because as we know, one of the main reasons for a failed diet is hunger.

Before d To be cooked, konjac noodles should be drained and rinsed thoroughly under running water.
They should be boiled for two minutes before incorporating into a recipe. This food has no flavour. It is wise to combine it with tasty foods, such as vegetables, herbs (garlic, shallot, onion), herbs, spices, etc.

Advice of our professionalsTrait or

Tristank-coaching's opinion

As a competitor, I used konjac a lot to fight against hunger, which helped me enormously during my weight loss. Remember to use spices etc. because it is a tasteless food!
