Product Description

What is it?
Cysteine is a semi-essential amino acid. It is considered semi-essential because your body can produce it from other amino acids, namely methionine and serine.
It only becomes essential when dietary intake of methionine and serine is low.
Cysteine is found in most protein-rich foods, such as chicken, turkey, yogurt, cheese, eggs, sunflower seeds, and legumes.
N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) is a precursor of the amino acid L-cysteine.
It has an essential role
in the formation of disulphide bridges, the true cements of proteins. It ensures the structuring and stability of cells and tissues. Thus, this amino acid is involved in many metabolic functions, including the synthesis of
melanin, coenzyme A, the formation of skin, nails and hair as well as in the regulation of mucus in the respiratory tract. (See
Reference 1)
Nac is necessary for the synthesis of glutathione* (See
Reference 2 / Reference 3).
* European legislation does not allow us to communicate more about the benefits of glutathione. We invite you, for example, to consult this article for its benefits: See article.Dynvéo supports the specificities of their N-acetyl-cysteine, in image:
Derived from a natural bio-fermentation process
